C20 Architecture Slam

The West Midlands Region of the Twentieth Century Society is holding its 2022 Architecture Slam in Coventry.

The slam covers short 15-minute presentations covering lots of Coventry architecture and public art including:

  • Photos of Coventry from the RIBA Archive (talk by RIBA Curator Valeria Carullo)
  • Coventry’s Elephant
  • The Marks and Spencer’s Building
  • The story of the resurrection of The Naiad
  • The Twentieth Century Society objects to the Bull Yard works
  • Re-visioning Coventry 2020-22 – restoring Gibson’s Masterplan
  • Tile Hill North – the proposed new Conservation Area
  • Tile Hill North – photo essay
  • T.D. Griffiths: Coventry’s Unsung Architect
  • And many more!

Saturday 2nd April 2022 from 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.

Koco Community Resource Centre, 15 The Arches, Spon End, Coventry, CV1 3JQ

£10 members of C20: £15 non-members. This is a hybrid event and anyone wanting to join via Zoom rather than in person can do so. The link will be sent once you have booked.
